Alicia first met Grant while she was working at a restaurant, and Grant came to work there one summer – with the intention to buy the restaurant! They formed a friendship as they were working together and soon realized they had feelings for each other. Long story short, Grant asked her out and ended up buying the restaurant – which they now run together! Years later, while on a trip to Jade Mountain in St. Lucia to celebrate New Year’s, Grant surprised Alicia with a magical proposal on their balcony.
Now let’s chat about this wedding! It is truly one for the books. The ceremony featured a mirrored aisle (yep, you read that right!) that gave the illusion of walking on a frozen lake. Monochromatic all-white florals by David L. Di Vincenzo from Planterra added to the ethereal wintery feel. Their planner, Ann Travis Events, did the most magnificent job of making their wedding feel like an enchanted winter fairytale. Niki Marie was on site to capture all the magic and you’re going to swoon over these shots, believe us!

Alicia wore a beautiful Serge Jevaguine A-line gown purchased at Roma Sposa.
“I wasn’t sure what style dress I wanted, so one of the ladies that was helping me suggested I try it on because it was a new sample they had just received. As soon as I tried it on I knew it was the one.”

The beauty of winter was a huge inspiration for this couple along with the enchantment of fairytales. They were really going for an all-around ethereal feel and we are definitely feeling it :)
All of the florals were whimsical and the perfect representation of winter. We’ve honestly never seen anything quite like it!
Walking down the aisle after we said 'I Do'. Having fun on the dance floor with our best friends. Being surrounded by our closest friends and family and feeling all of the love.
One thing about black bridesmaid dresses is it’s 100% certain that the group will look ridiculously classy! We also love the fuzzy shawls that go perfectly against the bride’s white gown (and keep her ladies warm and stylish!)
The Sophisticated Reception in a Greenhouse
Directing guests to their seats, mini greenhouses were displayed as a nod to the venue.
This tablescape exclusively boasted a cool and monochromatic color palette. With lots of grays, black, and white, and hints of greenery!
Not one single element of this couple’s big day felt thrown together or rushed. Every item had a purpose and served to be important for the day’s overall aesthetic!

For the after-party the bride wore a Micheal Costello jumpsuit from Revolve, to really allow the freedom to dance the night away! We are big fans of bridal jumpsuits for your reception!
