GWS Dress Week continues with yet another amazing, eye-catching gown, this one custom made by Lazaro! Since Patricia is the west coast PR manager for Dolce & Gabbana, it’s pretty safe to say fashion practically flows through her veins. Her dress features so much texture and such a flattering + stunning shape. And the rest of her ensemble selects were, of course, top notch too. Think Givenchy + Dolce & Gabbana shoes, Neil Lane jewels, a Lazaro veil – and her ‘maids were decked out in Erin Fetherston!
But the apparel wasn’t the only stand out element of Patricia + Christopher’s beautiful Rancho Valencia celebration, captured beautifully by ART IS FOR LOVERS. We’re ALL about the romantic color story of ivory + rose gold and the elegant, glamorous feel of the event. In fact, we were so inspired by this perfect wedding palette, that we’ve put together a rose gold shopping guide a bit later in the post!
Patricia’s bouquet by Michelle Jacob is truly one of the most romantic we’ve ever seen!
From the structured overlay that looks like an art sculpture to the tulle skirt + rose gold belt, we’re head over heels for this one-of-a-kind design. And Patricia’s elegant makeup, by Renee Lee, and hair, by Sarah Pae, perfectly completed her glamorous look.
Patricia says, The venue played a key role in realizing our vision. As a tennis resort, Rancho Valencia fits with our early relationship (tennis buddies). Moreover, it maintains that tough balance between elegance and comfort. We kept the décor romantic, feminine and clean in order to complement the venue’s masculine characteristics.
The emotional walk down the aisle with my dad, reading our vows, and the kiss all felt so surreal. The ceremony was honestly such special moment for both Chris and I. I wish we could pause it and live that moment over and over again. We really did tune everyone out and just breathed with one another and took in the words we both wrote for one another. Together we felt so blessed and humbled by the entire day.
Processional: Pachelbel's Canon
Recessional: All you need is love – The Beatles
First Dance: Kiss Me – Ed Sheeran
More from Patricia, The rose gold theme showcased through the mini Moet Rose bottles that also served as escort cards. A signage that said ‘Drink me and good luck finding your seat’ will be the added as the silly touch. Finally, we wanted guests to feel like they were at mine and Chris’ home so Diptyque candles (my favorite) created the heavenly scent in the reception room.

I think all brides should be prepared to go through various emotional phases during the planning process – it’s a roller-coaster! You will feel excitement, nervousness and might even discover a side of you never thought you had. Then somewhere down the line you might face few setbacks. But stay optimistic because your vision will come into fruition for your wedding and it will be the best day of your life!
