Electric love is in full bloom in today’s wedding inspiration! Details like light bulb glasses and a botanical backdrop are the stars of this story, by way of photographer + designer, Alex Lasota and a team of wedding artists based in Eastern Washington. The crew convened at BlankSpace Tri-Cities for a shoot that captures the essence of Green Wedding Shoes: darling DIYs, a fashionable couple, and creative collaboration!
Here’s what Alex had to say about the day: Our inspiration really steamed from industrial and botanical styled elements. We really liked the idea of writing on leaves for both the menu and the desert bar, to really have our green/botanical element carried on throughout the entire shoot, as well as writing on glass, mirror, and lightbulbs to represent the industrial element of this shoot. Our color scheme, metallic, greens, and white really complimented the direction, as well!
Love it! Let’s dive in with photos from Alex Lasota Photography:
Grace Niu‘s sweet invitations are just lovely!
Balloons are all the rage and we don’t mind ONE bit. Mixing them in with a vase of overgrown branches? That’s the creative design of Up Balloon Boutique + My Garden Overfloweth!
Ooooo, do we spot some green wedding shoes?! Love these from ALDO – and all these, too:

Industrial and botanic in one!
Need some tips when it comes to choosing the right vendor for you? Alex has some GREAT advice:
Aside from the detailed elements, one of my favorite parts about this shoot was the collaborative team effort it took to produce it. Every single individual played a vital role in making this vision possible and contributed their talent in spades. My biggest advice for brides planning a wedding is to seek out vendors whom 110% love their career and are continually striving to grow with other vendors in the process. Chances are, if you have vendors who are in love with what they do, your wedding will go off without a hitch.
The bride wore a sleek and stunning gown from, our fav, BHLDN.
“You light up my life” – SO cute!! The team created these adorable champagne light bulb glasses that can also act as wedding favors!
Wanna get your DIY on? Here’s a few things you’ll need!

L Maria Calligraphy created a lovely, organic menu written on leaves!
Aren’t figs just beautiful? That pop of pink adds the sweetest touch on these cupcakes created by Frosted A Cupcake Shop.

Loved the combination of style here. I’m scouting for wedding ideas for my own wedding ceremony and this blog was one of the most resourceful thus far. Loved it!
