Inspired by the bride who’s not afraid to wear leather + lace on her wedding day, today’s editorial – by Michelle Roller + Sandcastle Celebrations – is edgy + modern in all the best ways! With lush protea-infused florals by Flowers by Kim, a pretty blush + black palette, and a streamlined Olia Zavozina wedding dress, this shoot is perfect for adventurous couples who want a day that’s as bold + unique as they are.
Michelle shares, The venue, Prisqu’ile Winery, provided the perfect location to showcase this vision. Prisqu’ile was built to meld into the natural surroundings and all the building materials echo the surrounding landscape. The dining table featured Himalayan salt crystals, modern geometric gold lanterns, and a hand painted raw silk table runner. A uniquely designed place setting included chargers of pink marble tiles, black dinner plates, and black silverware. The black dinner plates showcased the beautiful deconstructed meals. This inspiration shoot is bold and sexy for any bride willing to take a ride on the wild side.
Um, YES to this amaze bouquet! Unstructured and reflecting the shoot’s audacious theme, there’s no way we could love it more.
Blush + brass details pair oh-so-nicely with an edgy bridal look featuring a cropped leather jacket and the best accessory around, a motorcycle helmet! ;)
We could see lots of fun being had around this table! Shop our fave pink, black + brass table finds below!

Such a rad shoot! The leather jacket is the coolest touch, never seen a biker bride and I’m loving it!!
Incorporating the food from Field to Table events really brought this shoot to another level. Food is a very visual + impactful wedding detail that is often forgotten. But if we ask ourselves honestly what we remember five or ten years down the road, it isn’t the table linens or even the vows, it’s the food. The catering’s edgy presentation + vibrant colors is just spot on!
This is one of the most stunning, artistic wedding ever.
