For those of you that can never seem to get enough of the desert (yes, that is us!), we’re dishing up a major dose of edgy meets bohemian inspiration at Rimrock Ranch (just outside of Joshua Tree). The retro-rustic grounds set the stage for Not Another Workshop, hosted by Jarrod J. Photo and Melissa Rey Photo, and made the most beautiful setting for all the glitz and the glam.
The designer, Laura of Fawn Events, tells us: Staying true to the edgy vibe of the property, we created the ultimate “Rugged Valentine Elopement.” The soft palette consisting of pale peach, shades of lilac, ivory, and muted sage was the perfect balance to the rustic surroundings.
Let’s see all the desert magic Jarrod J. Photo captured!
Isn’t this invitation suite from Four Things Paper simply DIVINE?! We love the use of the translucent paper atop the blush and florals to give it a touch of elegance.
The Ensembles
Letting the bouquet and the desert serve as the sources of color, the team chose these GLAM modern + sparkly looks.
We’re all for that sparkly bridal cape + those glittering shoes on the groom!
Isn’t that Sweet Caroline Styles gown a dream?! We adore how it can be dressed up or down.
The Ceremony Space
Hellooooo, my rugged Valentine! Playing with pops of peach and lavender, along with tons of white to soften the look, The Dainty Lion Floral Co. created these floral pieces to frame the ceremony site.
Aren’t those colors brilliant together?
The lounge took on a romantic and whimsical feeling, but with a desert edge. It’s all about adding contrast with the stark black and white looks, and incorporating those playful pops of color from the florals.
Edge It Up
Tulle for days, Sweet Caroline Styles’ new line of gorgeous flowing skirts and beaded bodysuits added that extra element of sophisticated sass!
Isn’t this DREAMY? Hair By Kayti served up this gorgeous hairstyle with some messy braids woven in, and Meg O’Hare made sure the ladies looked glam all day long.
As if this day couldn’t get any dreamier, Four Things Paper hand-painted a helmet with the words, “Ride away with me baby,” to pair with the vintage BMW bike.
Who else would love to take wedding portraits with a motorcycle?
Love this!!
The Tablescape That is Pure Romance
Kimberly of The Dainty Lion lined the tablescape with lush blooms and soft textures to create this whimsical + ethereal feeling. Isn’t this just darling?!
Yep, it’s OFFICIAL, we adore peach and lavender together!
More tablescapes like this, please!! Wouldn’t you love to dine at this table with pieces from Hostess Haven?
So GOOD! And that bridal crown from MJF Bridal? Heavenly.
To top it all off, Sugar Crush Sweets created a cake covered in frosted petals and the most beautiful spread of mini desserts including macarons, cream puffs and eclairs.
