Miami is known for its beautiful beaches, amazing Art Deco architecture, neon lights, endless fun + zealous spirits… And so much more! Wanting to highlight another side of Miami, particularly the vibrant murals, graffiti walls, and the hipster artisan neighborhood that’s boomed with Art Basel, Vanessa of a&bé bridal shop teamed up with event designer, Christy V & Co. for this epic editorial!
Vanessa spills: With that in mind, we wanted to bridge luxury and boho flair with a styled shoot in Miami’s most progressive neighborhood: Wynwood Arts District. The storyline for our shoot is centered around a Miami socialite couple, who lives in Midtown and parties in Brickell. But, on a typical afternoon, you can find them perusing the Wynwood streets for work, inspiration, or leisure.
Let’s take a stroll through Miami and see all the magic captured by photographer KGohhSnap!
Talk about a sharp dresser…
We can’t get over this stylin’ groom’s outfit! Printed pants, a gray suit jacket, super rad kicks!! Oh and if you take a closer look at that TV-Head Company bow tie — it’s made of wood!
So. Gorgeous.
And how gorgeous is the darling bride?! From her lace Made with Love Luxe dress + that modern hairpiece by Lia Terni…
Vanessa shares: The boho bridal community is growing in Miami, and Wynwood Miami seems to be the epicenter with three bridal shops in the neighborhood. So it only seemed natural to have the ceremony at Plant the Future and the reception at Wynwood Diner — locations that are landmarks in their own right in the community + highly photographed and visited by tourists.
Switching it up, the bride changed into this edgy gown from a&bé bridal shop Miami.
Bold and bright florals with pops of orange, hot pink and scarlet red — House of Lilac crafted one GORGEOUS bouquet + then carried those same colors into the floral tablerunner.
Custom calligraphy + watercolor swatches are always a gorgeous match; this escort card was crafted by Salvaging Eden.
Waffles + fried chicken?! Yes, please!!
We’re seriously crushing on the divine simplicity of this cake from Elsie Flour Shop.
To top it all off, the duo dug into these delish ice cream sandwiches from Wynwood Parlor!
Not only does this editorial shoot capture the essence of the emerging Miami Bridal community, but it also shows that Miami is a destination for eloping beyond the beautiful beaches…
Cool + collected. Don’t the murals make for incredible backdrops?!
