We suppose it’s safe to call it Geode Day here at GWS (backtrack to our morning post if you’re just now stopping by!) and we’re totally crushing on the gorgeous 1970’s Edwardian vibe of our next feature. Dallas + Jamie, the real-life lovers from this eclectic celestial styled shoot, are just the cutest! They love exploring constellations together and are fans of all things mystical + vintage. So it goes without saying that there couldn’t have been a more perfect duo to showcase in a setting sprinkled with twinkling gems, wild florals, whimsical vintage garb and Moroccan-style design elements. We’ve gotta give it up to the amazing Ashleigh Hobson, who conceptualized, photographed, and designed the whole editorial! We think it’s just the inspiration boho couples need for ideas on how to bring the cosmos to their wedding day!
The gorgeous florals from The Flower Girls incorporated lots of ferns, reticulated pussy willow, english ivy and a good dose of wild + free. And we’re loving the headpiece they made to crown Dallas’ dreads! So, so rad!
And we’re crazy about Dallas’ two piece wedding dress; a vintage find from Mustang Annees.
The shoot’s paper goods had such a unique feel. Ashleigh sourced the star maps from Vintage Inclination + CastafioreOldPrints and the 2014 Lunar Calendar from Kin of Kin, all of which really helped unite the setting.
Pretty sure this is our dream tablescape! The mix of all the brass + geode details is just so good!
Rustic sweets, like lemon rosemary pound cake + a maple hazelnut buttermilk cake sat atop geometric end tables, under star prints + a science chart of the moon.
