A wall made entirely of flowers. A pastoral estate straight from a painting. Table-to-ceiling lofted florals. Farm animals! And a couple with the style and grace to outshine it all. Courtney + Charlie said their “I Do’s” at The Inn at Fernbrook in their home state of New Jersey surrounded by friends, family, and historic gardens. Every element of the day represented their relationship in some way, from the decor to the food to the ceremony, and guests were treated to a true reflection of love on display.
Courtney filled us in on the inspiration behind the day: Fernbrook was the perfect backdrop for our wedding day as it brought together so many elements that are important to us. The inn on the property was a nod to the countless bed & breakfasts that Charlie and I have stayed at during our travels together; the fresh produce and tented reception reflected the outdoor summer dinners we had both grown up sharing with our families in New Jersey; and the vast beautiful spaces, intimate gardens, and the adorable farm animals spoke to our love for exploring the outdoors. We filled the day with extraordinary flowers and wove in small details that were deeply personal, like the gold bears, pillows that said love you x infinity and beyond–a phrase we say to each other almost every day, and pinecones from Maine.
Pat Furey Photography was on hand to capture the picturesque day!
A Garden Party did a fabulous job creating lush bouquets and incredible florals, from show-stoppers (wait until you see the backdrop!) to thoughtful details.
Courtney wore a gown by Jenny Packham that she found at The Dress Theory, and you’ve GOT to watch the video below to see the crystal chain back detail in full effect!
The gardens were in full bloom for these two!
LOVE that side-swept romantic ‘do by Jeanette Pasquita from Metropolis Salon & Spa.
The girls look stunning in BHLDN! The blush beaded detail perfectly compliments Courtney’s gown.
The men turned to Bonobos and Nordstrom for a classic, dapper look.
Swoon…heart eyes…stunning…majestic…ALL OF THE WORDS! Well done, A Garden Party.
After dating for over eight years we didn't expect the ceremony to be so emotional, but it was definitely the most memorable moment of our wedding day. We wanted every aspect of the ceremony to reflect us as a couple and it didn't disappoint. A long-time family friend of Charlie's became ordained to officiate our wedding and he was absolutely incredible. There were happy tears, sad tears, laughter, and reflections from our family and friends woven throughout the ceremony. We each wrote our own vows and exchanging those words for the first time was unforgettable.

Recessional: Press Conference from "Love Actually" by Craig Armstrong
First Dance: For You by Sharon Van Etten
If there weren’t enough lovely places to explore, guests could relax in the charming nook tucked behind the trees.
Gorgeous!
SO MANY incredible details at the reception. The watercolor table numbers and lush florals take center stage!
Don't lose sight of what the day is all about: your love for one another and your commitment to growing that love. If you keep that in mind, everything will fall into place. And trust your vendors. You chose to work with these amazing people because you believe that they are the best at what they do, so let them do their thing and they will amaze you.
Such a sweet day! And there’s more– Tree of Life Films & Photography created a sweet wedding video below of the love birds! Many congrats to Courtney + Charlie!

The floral backdrop must’ve been awe inspiring to see in person.
Courtney + Charlie, you did good.
Stunning venue, bride looked amazing and the flower wall was so special and made the photos. Congratulations to Courtney and Charlie and all the best to them in the future.
