With twinkling lights and beautiful Persian rugs abundant, a crowd full of incredible dancers, artists + more — BC Jean + Mark Ballas said I DO!! We saw their penchant for luxe + bohemian-inspired design during their engagement session, (be sure to check that out + then pop back here!), and we can definitely see their love for all things whimsical, edgy + bold carried through to their wedding day. Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA, set the stage for this creative duo. As Mark is best-known for being a DWTS pro, and BC Jean is a singer-songwriter, it’s no surprise that their wedding was brimming with awesome tunes + what we like to call pure magic.
Lights were strewn from large oak trees, BC’s ‘maids — affectionally referred to her as “bride tribe” wore all white, and the couple immediately went into dance after their vows were sealed with a kiss. Event designer, David Tutera, truly made the day into one bohemian-inspired wonderland…

BC’s dress is by Israeli designer, Idan Cohen. BC wanted to have a traditional + timeless dress, while still incorporating some edgy + rocker elements, and Cohen designed the gown specifically for her!
BC’s bridesmaids all wore white — a trend that we’re particularly fond of! Celebrity stylist, Monique Lauren, helped pick out all the romantic dresses from Mac Duggal + Idan Cohen.
Mille Fiori Floral Design Studio created a lush bouquet, full of vibrant colors. The deep greens, blues, and dark purple hues exuded a very bohemian + moody style, much like BC Jean’s.

Our Musical Choices
How dreamy is this tablescape with all the jewel-toned pieces?! La Tavola Linen provided vintage gold mirrors, plush pillows, goblets, specialty linens, and more! The swirling calligraphy was done by Kelly Patrice.
Out of this world!! How stunning is this celestial-inspired cake from A Sweet Design?
The reception called for tons of dancing (it only makes sense, as it was Mark Ballas’ wedding!). BC admits that no one has really seen her dance before… So she brought out some moves for a sexy tango number with her husband! Their photographer shares Can you imagine all the best dancers in the world in one room?! I mean, Alfonso Ribeiro — the actor best-known for playing Carlton on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air — was doing The Carlton in a sea of people doing to The Carlton!! Instead of doing a Champagne toast, everyone took a celebratory tequila shot.
