It was all about marble, bougie boho-inspired accents, and dusty pink hues at Renata + Alec’s wedding at Millwick in Downtown LA. Renata chose the location for its earthy, boho setting, and we can’t think of a better backdrop for what she + her beau envisioned! R+A hiked daily while they lived in Los Angeles (they recently relocated to North Carolina), and they wanted the mountains and the spirit of Southern California to come through in the wedding décor + ambience.
Renata tells us: We planned our wedding in four months, and I a month with my wedding planner, Robin Baab from Ro & Co Events, whom we could not have done this without. We found our venue first, and through our venue and Instagram, I found all of our other vendors. As a bonus, all of our vendors had repeatedly worked together and at our venue. I would best describe our wedding as bougie bohemian. I also drew inspiration from Palm Springs architecture, cactus plants, pampas grass, and Los Angeles wildflowers and nature parks.

The Outfits
How gorgeous is this tiered boho bridal gown from Grace Loves Lace?!
Lookin’ SO sharp! Alec rocked a blue tux, complete with a proper pop of pink.
The Ceremony Space
We both decided that we did not want to have a bridal party. We did not have anyone walk us down the aisle, and we were the only two people under the Chuppah. Although we did not want a very traditional wedding, we did have a traditional Jewish ceremony lead by a Rabbi, spiritual leader in the community and dear family friend.
That asymmetrical floral piece dressed up the chuppah in the BEST way possible.
The Florals
When it came to the florals, Shindig Chic absolutely dazzled us with this bouquet! A king protea served as the focal point, and was rounded out by tons of texture in soft pink and coral hues.
The Marble Escort Cards
SO MUCH YES!! The amazing creatives at Shindig Chic put together this incredible escort card display… and all we can say is WOW.
No party is complete without signature cocktails, right? The Whaling Club whipped up these delish drinks.
The Reception
The space at the Millwick is brimming with leafy greens, which made it the perfect space for this luxe + boho-inspired reception.
Would you take a look at those minty green chairs, and all the darling succulents + cactus?
How gorgeous are all those marble accents? From marble plates, to marble escort cards… plus all those pink pressed glasses from Borrowed Blu — totally luxe!
After the ceremony, we wanted to make sure that the reception was one big party in which people truly enjoyed themselves. We focused the reception on a good dining experience with food from Little Nelly.
Bougie, beautiful, and boho. Congratulations, R+A!!
