Kicking off a 3-day Colorado wedding extravaganza is this couple’s mountain home rehearsal dinner, in Dunton Hot Springs (also featured in our Top 26 Coolest Places to Get Married)! Taking inspiration from a Ralph Lauren type estate, and all the rustic goodness that comes with it, Alison Events created the most beautifully themed banquet.
The planner, Jesse Tombs, of Alison Events shares We wanted the design to feel as though it belonged in the space and wasn’t just set up for the day of the event. I worked with Natalie Bowen Design to find unique vintage candlesticks, vintage brown glass medicine bottles and interesting styling objects to bring this vision to life… We also wanted to incorporate wildflowers – so they looked natural, as if they had been collected from a field or meadow near by.
Let’s take a look at the gorgeous photographs by Paige Jones, shall we?
Mae Mae & Co. designed the paper materials + escort cards. Each card was tied to a vintage key, inspired by the vintage keys found around the Dunton Hot Springs property.
La Tavola Fine Lines provided the tablecloths, runners and napkins; the planner shares The idea was to have the linens not only add color, texture and pattern to the room, but also quilt like weight for the cool mountain night.
SO much rustic goodness! Check back in a few hours to see the rest of the wedding!!
