So next week is the start of December and that means lots of holiday parties are on the horizon! My favorite time of year. :) Today I wanted to share one of my current favorite pairs of shoes from kate spade new york and how I would wear them for a holiday party. The Lovely pointed toe pump is such a gorgeous classic shoe. A black heel with a bit of a wow factor (I mean those bows, right?!!) is totally up my alley. It will go great with a LBD you already own – or since it’s fun to dress up a bit more around this time of year, I rented a fun dress from Rent the Runway to pair with the shoes.
And before anyone thinks I chopped all my hair off, it was really the magic of Fiore Beauty who gave me a fab faux bob for this look. Since I’ve had long hair for my entire life, it was fun to see what it would be like with short hair for a day :)
We shot these photos at one of my current fave hotels in LA, the LINE Hotel. Their rooms have a pretty amazing view of LA and love the overall modern vibe of the design – wait until you see the couch in the room! Big thanks also to Jesse Chamberlin with Our Labor of Love for the stunning photos.
I love wearing a statement necklace for holiday parties and this kate spade new york necklace I rented from Rent the Runway (did you know you can rent jewelry from RTR?!) was an instant fave as well as those bangles. If you are looking for a statement necklace, I also love this rose gold one and this empire pave bib necklace from kate spade new york.
I mean how great is this hair?!!
I mean, how great are these shoes?!
So much fun getting all dolled up and shooting these pics! If you are looking for some fun shoes to wear to your holiday parties, I selected some of my current faves from kate spade new york that I think would be so perfect – including these black lovely heels of course!
