These dresses are so fun! I saw the one with the green bow on a bride and I had to find out who designed it. The designer is Stephanie Kennedy and her line of dresses were born after her marriage in 2005. From Stephanie, “I just couldn’t find the right dress, so I designed my own. My husband was so impressed by it, he urged me to start an entire line. Sometimes I swear I was supposed to have lived in the 50’s, so I have created my own little fantasy world through these dresses. I also adore the glamour of 30’s gowns and the femininity of 40’s suits.” If you are looking for a vintage inspired dress, be sure to check out her line. I love that she is willing to work with brides to create custom dresses in their choice of fabric and colors. Her boutique is in Huntington Beach at 348 Main Street, Suite 110 (although her dresses are also in stores across the country). See more of her designs at Stephanie James Couture.
She also creates gorgeous hair pieces.
Stephanie’s wedding dress that started it all! Photos below from Becker.
I love these dresses. The vintage feel is perfect. Also, it is a great photo shoot location.
Very beautiful dresses. I remember seeing Stephanie’s wedding pictures on Becker’s website and I just about dyed from the loveliness. She is very talented!
The dresses are fabulous. Do you have any idea where this was shot? The signs in the background would make a perrrfect backdrop for my engagement photos! thanks!
Hi Amanda! This photo shoot was in Las Vegas at the Neon Museum – http://www.neonmuseum.org/boneyard.html
