We don’t have to tell you that Paris is one of the most magical places in the world. From the Seine that weaves its way through the city to the iconic Haussmann buildings to the history and the fashion and the food…we could go on and on! Well, when Weronika + Patrick got to planning their elopement, they decided on Paris. Talk about dreaaaaaamy!
They tell us: We are major movie lovers and told our photographer, Daria Lorman, some of our favorites are “Midnight in Paris” (which influenced the location), and “The Talented Mr. Ripley.” We had never been to Paris before and were looking for something off the beaten path—something different than the Eiffel Tower…fortunately Daria knows the city very well and guided us. She suggested Le Marais for bridal portraits and a sweet ceremony on the Seine.

Paris Elopement Details
An elegant invitation suite for an elegant location! Isn’t this set from Cotton Bird the prettiest?
Excusez-moi, my jaw just dropped. That dress + those florals!!
It was all about those peachy pink dahlias and pops of orange to offset the city’s iconic gray tones in this bouquet created by Le Fancy Deco.
Paris Elopement Ensembles
Weronika shares: Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior collection with tarot and zodiac was always my dream, so naturally it inspired my dress choice! Point G Lingerie created this custom piece just for me.
Patrick donned and elegant blue suit from Blandin & Delloye.
Daria had great knowledge of wedding vendors in Paris. She gave me all the necessary contacts (makeup and hairstylist, florist, ceremony officiant, videographer)! This was super helpful and I highly recommend finding someone that is a local business owner if you’re eloping or planning a destination wedding that can help you with all of these resources.
Ceremony on the Seine
Though the day was quite windy and cold, the sun came out for the ceremony!
When the sun showed up during our ceremony and warmed us after a quite cold morning. It was such a beautiful moment with swans swimming around us! Also, people passing by on the boats at the Seine river were all giving us tons of applause and shouting congratulations! That made us feel special!
Swans, the Seine, your sweetheart…does it get any better than this?!
Café Sweethearts
They strolled along the Seine and ended up at a cute café in Place des Vosges. Champagne was nécessaire, bien sûr!
Liubov complemented Weronika’s natural beauty with this timeless wedding day look. How chic is her updo with that DellaBellaGioielli hairpiece?

Complementing the city’s architecture and history, Cakes by Meri crafted this regal delight!
A Paris Elopement Getaway Car
We were so happy that we could have exactly the same car from the movie—”The Talented Mr. Ripley”—the red Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider! We tried to think about every little detail in advance to make our day truly unique and fresh.
Can’t get over how cool this is!!
Daria, the photographer, shares: The possibilities for a destination wedding in Paris are endless. Whether you are choosing a more formal style with the Eiffel tower or something more casual along the Seine river, Paris has something for everyone. I really enjoyed bringing our wonderful couple to some of my favorites: Le Marais district, Quai des Orfèvres, Place des Vosges, and Quai de la Tournelle with the view of Notre Dame. If you add to this a red vintage car and two glasses of champagne, you get an ideal Parisian elopement.
Find a good photographer and videographer as they will create once in a lifetime memories that you can show to everyone when you arrive back home. This is definitely not where you should skimp for the sake of the budget. We were so lucky with Daria and Betty who went an extra mile—all the way from preparations to the final delivery. Also, prepare photo inspiration so that both you as a couple and your photographer have an idea of what you are trying to achieve and what are your dream shots.
