This Dreamy Bohemian Palm Springs Wedding is Brimming with Bougainvillea + Tropical Accents

Casa De Monte Vista Wedding

Have you got a penchant for Palm Springs? What about bushels of blooming bougainvillea? Maybe you’re a gal with a boho-lovin’ heart… Well, if any of those things sound like you—we have a feeling you’re going to LOVE Sarah + Tristan’s wedding at Casa De Monte Vista, planned to perfection by The Walk Down The Aisle.

Inspired by desert flowers and all things free spirited, their day was brimming with macramé accents, geodes, a touch of tropical florals, and a rockin’ bridal party in all-black.

Sound like your jam? Let’s take a look at all the moments Jana Williams captured!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

HANDS DOWN THE CEREMONY!! I never imagined the emotions I would feel! It's the most magical moment of your entire life to take the walk down the aisle and lock eyes with your future husband. You don't notice the crowd, or the bridal party or anything for that matter. At that moment in time, it's YOU and HIM and it's extremely special. Exchanging vows was also incredible. We wrote vows to each other, and I am so happy we chose to do so! I loved seeing his face as I read my vows to him, and I loved hearing the sweet words he wrote for me. Everyone else faded away, and it was such a powerful moment. It really made me feel like we were becoming husband and wife!!

The Newlyweds

Casa De Monte Vista Wedding

Tristan and I really wanted our wedding to feel like “us”. We selected Palm Springs because my grandparents have a home there and it was a place I spent a ton of time as a child. It’s a very sentimental city to the both of us!

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

I think it’s really important to be on the same page with your fiancé and do what YOU guys want to do! The day is about you two, and even bigger than that, the day is about your union and commitment to each other for the rest of your lives. Be open to advice and help from others, but at the end of the day, make sure your wedding is how YOU want it to be!

I would also advise that once you make a decision, try not to over analyze it! Trust your gut! This will save you a lot of stress during the planning process. ALIGN YOURSELF WITH VENDORS YOU CONNECT WITH! Especially your coordinator, florist and photographer (in my opinion)! Oh and also, day-of let everything go!! Your work is done! Enjoy the day, soak in all the amazing feelings and experiences!

We wanted to make sure to incorporate macramé throughout the event as this is a huge element in our personal home and a décor detail we personally love! We incorporated bright bougainvillea and bird of paradise flowers for a fun tropical pop of color and included crystals, macramé candles, garden roses and pastel orchids for a romantic touch.

Oh my goodness, those darling macramé candle holders from This Is What I Do Studio are just the cutest!

Also, I will say having a sweetheart table was amazing. Taking a moment together over dinner to look out over the tables filled with family, friends and all the people we love dearly was truly magical! It’s such a surreal feeling to see everyone come together to celebrate your love!
