Caroline, a visual merchandiser (aka big time creative) and her love, Brandon, hosted their amazing DIY-filled wedding celebration at The Glen Venue in Glen Saint Mary, Florida – and their day is sure to be such an inspiration for other crafty couples out there! From their handmade lace teepee lounge area, to their stunning, rustic macrame ceremony entryway, we’re so amazed + impressed by all of the creativity these two put into their celebration, and are so excited to get to share it with you here!
Caroline says, We wanted our guests to feel like they had entered an enchanted forest where they could relax and dance the night away. We had so many DIY details that we never could have pulled off without our amazing family and friends. We are so grateful for everyone’s help making our day everything we wanted and more.
Big thanks to Flora + Fauna for the beautiful captures below!
The Wilding Collective killed it with all the beautiful florals for the day. We love the rustic, wildflower vibe and all the pretty ingredients used!
Caroline: After the ceremony and family pictures, Brandon and I went back to our ceremony site for a few more photos. Although the ceremony was a blur, just sitting together surrounded by the tall trees and wildflowers, soaking in all of the emotions in the same location we had just said "I do" conjured a sense of completeness and happiness that makes me smile every time I think of it.
Brandon: Our first look. Seeing my soon to be wife looking incredibly beautiful after all of the anticipation, planning, and all of her hard work was almost overwhelming. I'll never forget that feeling when I turned around and saw her for the first time.

Always have a backup rain plan. I was completely against having a tent and wouldn't even look into reserving one. A week before the wedding we looked at the weather and the forecast was not looking good. I panicked and called my dad who was thankfully able to find a tent on such short notice. The day of the wedding the weather ended up being beautiful minus a short sprinkle during the reception that Brandon and I didn't even notice.
