Reanna + Calen were engaged for two years before they tied the knot with a fall celebration at Copake Country Club in Upstate New York. Their long engagement allowed them to plan out all the details for their day – big + small – and by DIYing lots of fun elements, like their teepee ceremony backdrop, they were able to add a unique, personal spin to the setting. We just love how it all turned out and think anyone planning a DIY autumn wedding is sure to find lots of inspiration from their gorgeous wedding feature!
Reanna shares, The inspiration for our wedding was drawn from anything and everything that related to our favorite season, autumn. Within each and every detail we integrated some element of the season. We had plenty of cozy campfires and warm blankets for our guests, and of course, a hot apple cider bar was an obvious necessity!
Big thanks to Love Flora Fauna for the gorgeous captures below!
We’re kind of flipping for Reanna’s gorgeous wedding day ensemble: a BHLDN skirt, paired with a lace top from Nasty Gal. So good!
Sol Flower Farm crafted the perfect blooms for the occasion, filled with seasonal varieties and textures.
How adorable is this hot apple cider + donut bar?! If you want to recreate this vignette for your upcoming fall wedding, get a DIY for a yummy apple cider cocktail right here!

It's hard to single out one moment as most memorable, but I can narrow it down to a couple. Walking down the aisle to stand next to my soon to be husband surrounded by all the people I love. In that moment, with the soft soothing sounds of a strumming banjo, breathing in the cool mountain air laced with the sweet scent of burning wood from the campfire, it seemed as if every second of planning had all come together in perfect harmony. After five years of being together, half of that time planning the wedding, we finally made it to that moment we anticipated for so long- and it was absolutely nothing short of perfection.
We love, love, love all of the fall details seen throughout the reception tablescapes! And the gorgeous palette of green, red and gold just can’t be beat.
My advice for brides planning now is to make sure you have an amazing photographer! These moments can only be captured once. Jennifer Sullivan was so helpful throughout this entire process. She documented our wedding flawlessly!

Pomegranate table pieces are seriously the most adorable idea! Also, the wood teepee is beautiful.
