Deposit a Gift Registry

Once you have the perfect venue, photographer and dress selected, it’s time to start thinking of your registry. I know some people think asking your guests for gifts is rude, but your guests WANT to buy you something to start your new life together, and registering makes things simpler so they don’t have to guess. From the numerous experiences of being a guest at a wedding, I’d much rather get the couple something they really want instead of something for their home that they don’t really need or want. That is why I love the concept over at Deposit a Gift. With Deposit a Gift you can register for cash towards a down payment on your first home, funds for your dream honeymoon (this is what the hubby + I did and it worked so great!), or if you don’t really need anything, how about a donation to your favorite charity? Instead of buying actual gifts, your loved ones deposit cash into a personal registry account that you can use towards anything your imagination can conjure. I know I would love to help my friends + family members who are getting married this year with a down payment on a new home or a trip of their dreams to make amazing memories together…right?!

Deposit a Gift is the perfect solution for everyone. Friends + family are happy because they’ve helped buy you something you want – something you’ll always remember them by, something that suits you. You’re happy because you have the flexibility to use the money towards anything you want when the time is right. They are also the only site that includes a free wedding website, and room to list your other registries, for a true one-stop-shop. I totally recommend checking out their Deposit a Gift Testimonials for registry inspiration and their FAQ page which answers any specific questions you might have – happy registering!
