A lavender mohawk, blue wedding booties, a crystal crown, and all the best details you can imagine. That’s what you’ll find in Carolyn + Max’s amazing wedding celebration feature today. These two worked with some amazing vendors to pull off an event that left no stone, or should we say decor element, unturned. With florals + design by Renaissance Floral Design, logistics + planning by Christine Wheat, Northwood Events and Cindy Byno, C + M had a support team behind their day that proves that when the right creatives come together, magic can really happen!
Carolyn + Max share, We had lots of input on decor of the day – I chose my favorite flowers for the ceremony, and great mix-match furniture for the cocktail hour (we’re not big fans of white-everything for weddings, or matchy-matchy, so we were glad to put together some cool decor). One of the biggest notes of the day was one of our favorite bands was present for the reception, making the whole night feel truly tailored to us with music we enjoy – live!
Thanks so much to Dixie Pixel for sending these amazing images our way!
Eyeing those shoes? (How could you not be!) They were a killer find from Irregular Choice.

And the shoes paired perfectly with Carolyn’s perfect, perfect wedding day hair by Jenn & Beau Monde Progressive Hair, her dress by Lazaro (from Kleinfeld’s), and amaze crystal crown by Elemental Child.
Creative stationery by Paper Dolls of Saratoga proved to be a perfect fit for the unique details + surroundings. And, below, catch a view of the amazing Adirondack mountain backdrop! A jaw-dropping place to say your I Dos…
Probably walking down the aisle after the ceremony was finished, arm in arm, and getting in the little red truck feeling that “official” feeling. Just the two of us, it was a small moment to ourselves and a breather from all the events during a day that went so fast. It was all smiles and clinking glasses after that!
Cocktail hour was staged in a tent adorned with vintage furniture and guests enjoyed custom drinks while snacking on charcuterie + lobster.
And a separate tent for the reception featured a hanging ribbon installment that wowed, along with romantic tablescapes topped with lace textiles + lush, organic blooms.
Get a wedding planner! And all the help you can get. I would have been pulling my hair out without it all - most of my ‘worries’ weren’t even worry-worthy. You will want to think about all the fun stuff - music, food, decor. The planner can help you with all the logistics and get the nitty gritty work done (hotels, transport, etc.). In the end, there's so much to take in that tasks may get forgotten without help from others.

LOVE the photos you captured from this wedding!! It was wonderful to work with such a great team of vendors on this beautiful wedding and create this behind the scenes video of how it was put together! https://vimeo.com/144908555
Everything about this wedding is incredible! The Bride, Carolyn’s exquisite dress and Quartz crown – the decor filled with tall tapered candles, even hung from above! Epic!
