LA’s Carondelet House is a pretty magical place. With so much character and the most beautiful architectural details every where you look, it was the perfect spot for Kelsey + Eric to host their cozy and romantic wedding. Their wedding was filled with a bevy of pretty details: think breezy draping, hanging spanish moss, and lots + lots of candlelight! The team at GATHER Events did a gorgeous job of blending conventional Jewish traditions with fun, rustic design elements to create a celebration that completely captured Kelsey + Eric’s personalities. And the one + only Braedon Flynn was there to perfectly document it all. Here’s a bit more about the day from the gals at GATHER:
As designers, walking into Carondelet House is such a dream. We were able to use the cozy living room area as a ceremony space, which created a warm + intimate setting for the rich traditions of a Jewish service. Simple, yet dramatic drapery and a greenery-swathed Chuppah were brought in to help define the space…
I love everything about Kelsey’s gorgeous look! Her Ivy & Aster gown and sweet scalloped lace veil are just so pretty. And did you see those incredible Miu Miu shoes?! They definitely brought some serious wow-factor to her ensemble!
Their ceremony had such an intimate feel with the cozy candlelight + beautiful chuppah. The cascading eucalyptus + spanish moss accents are so, so lovely.
And the overhead beams at Carondelet provided the perfect place for the team at GATHER Events + Kristen of Moon Canyon Design to create a hanging candle + spanish moss canopy over the dinner tables. It looked so gorgeous, don’t you think?!
Kelsey + Eric served their guests hot dogs + ice cream for a yummy late night snack! They chose popular LA faves Let’s Be Frank + Sweet Lucie’s. Such a fun idea!
Kelsey + Eric, congratulations on a beautiful day + best wishes from GWS!
