Kristen is American and Juan is Italian, so for their Connecticut farm wedding, they wanted to blend their two different cultures in a really fun way! They crafted a wedding most reflective of them as a couple by naming their tables after memorable moments in their relationship, gifting guests glass jars of grappa labeled “Italian moonshine”, and choosing florals + decorative objects that spoke to them. There was an underlying bohemian vibe, the coolest bridesmaid dress color ever, and a totally delish garden fresh reception menu. Kristen tells us, At the end of the day, we wanted it to feel like an intimate summer dinner outside our house with lots of candlelight and mixed cut flowers. The feeling in the room was very romantic and relaxed.

Our Advice
Don't obsess with Pinterest or Instagram. It can be helpful but you'll always find something that sparks regret or envy.
Stick to your gut. There were a few moments when my color choices or rentals were debated by best friends and parents but I managed to hold firm on my desires. Best decision I ever made. Try convincing 8 bridesmaids that they'll look great in chartreuse!
Lastly, KNOW in your mind beforehand that things will look and happen not exactly as planned and let it go because in the present moment...you're tying the knot!!
