Some may say a serene beach view + a vibrant color palette just don’t mix, but we think Laurie + DJ’s retro cliffside Big Sur elopement just might change a couple of minds. These two wanted to keep it really small + intimate, and let their own personalities and styles take center stage. So naturally, a private ceremony, with an amazing backdrop (made by the genius team at E Events Co.) and opting for one of their dearest friends to act as the officiant, felt just right. With nothing but the sound of the waves crashing behind them, Laurie + DJ sealed the deal + we’re so glad to have a peek at the pretty captured by the talented Molly Gilholm!

And we can’t get over Laurie’s stunning wedding dress, which was a totally killer vintage find! Something that beautiful needed a really stylish bouquet to complement it, and Willi Wildflower delivered with an anemone, fern + protea filled beauty.
Really, does it get any better than this? The E Events Co. team took inspiration from Laurie + DJ’s love of the 60s, along with their unique personality + style, to craft a stunning altar that would be fitting for the fun + colorful duo that they are!
