Don’t you just love a good serendipitous story? Avonné, the photographer behind Avonné Photography, has a great one about Diyasha + Jason and how this home wedding inspiration shoot (turned vow renewal!) came to be:
Diyasha is actually my personal hairstylist. We were talking one day during an appointment and she mentioned that she planned on eloping with Jason and hiring me to shoot. Well, time went by, life happened and we never got around to it. They eventually eloped on a whim while visiting Jason’s parents in Colorado. At our next appointment, a year later, we squealed with excitement that she was finally a married woman.
It dawned on me that Diyasha and Jason never had proper wedding photos, so I figured why not use them as models and actually have a vow renewal. We did just that. The styled shoot literally turned into a quick vow renewal as they read their vows with their favorite song playing in the background. All the vendors, included me, were sobbing our eyes out.
SO sweet! And with styling by Seeded Events and Design at the McAlister-Leftwich House in Greensboro, D + J had the dreamiest set up to reaffirm their love. Let’s have a look at the beautiful photos by Avonné Photography!
