There’s nothing quite like a quintessentially classic celebration that’ll really have you feeling all the wedding feels! Christine + Jordan’s stunning day is really no exception at all, filled with some of the most beautiful black, white + lavender details you’ll ever see! A lot of their inspiration came directly from their venue – San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California – where the beautiful grounds are bursting with blooming lavender + olive trees. C says the look they were going for was “polished bohemian garden party” and as you’ll see in the photos below by Amanda K Photo Art, she and Jordan definitely achieved that look + then some!
Valentino shoes FTW, always.
We love, love, love this shot of Christine and her ladies, who were wearing super pretty floral print robes! Their’s are from Stone Cold Fox and unfortunately no longer available, but we rounded up some other fun robe options for your gals in our shopping guide below :)
We both had the same favorite moment - after our formal portraits were finished, we walked along a beautiful garden path to the lawn where cocktail hour was being held. It was just a brief perfect moment with just us, surrounded by beautiful misty air, before the craziness of greeting everyone at cocktail hour!
If you're doing a destination wedding, go a week early! We went to LA the week before the wedding and I was running around like a chicken with my head cut of going to various appointments and taking care of last minute decor things - because you find out that there are a lot of things that can only be done at the last minute!
Lists are your best friends. I was super stressed out about wedding planning until I sat down and made a giant checklist and broke it down by months. It was the only thing that kept me sane!
Roll with the punches - no matter how hard you plan, something out of your control will go wrong. After waist alterations, my dress became too short. They hadn't touched the length and there was no fabric to let out, so the seamstress tried sewing pleats in the tulle reduce the pouf. It didn't really work... so I ended up wearing bare feet until dinner! It worked out pretty well considering the ceremony was on grass!
