From dreamy dresses to a historic setting, it’s classic romance today on Green Wedding Shoes! Imagine all the grandeur of a fairy tale ballroom mixed with candlelit hallways and lush details…in love yet?? This dreamy inspiration comes to us by way of Alice at Alison Events and Charlotte, the floral genius behind Charlotte & Daughters. Alice tells us:
When we had our first pow wow, we determined we wanted a venue that evoked a rich, moody, romantic vibe. I was immediately drawn to The San Francisco Mint with it’s historical grandeur and stately presence. When we first walked into ‘The Granite Lady’ we were overwhelmed with a feeling of San Francisco’s history. There are so many different rooms that intrigued us and told a story. We were able to effectively capture the essence of The San Francisco Mint on this shoot by incorporating a sense of ethereal romance, without losing the masculinity and moodiness.
Larissa Cleveland captured all the details of the day! Let’s have a look:
This classic invitation suite by Yonder Design is SO pretty.
Speaking of gorgeous, would you believe the beautiful bride wasn’t even meant to model that day?
Here’s a fun story from Alice: Due to unforeseen circumstances, our model bride was unable to attend at the last minute. We had two stunning Naeem Khan gowns lent to us by Jin Wang Bridal Salon that we HAD to shoot. Luckily, my colleague Andrea Munson was assisting me on the that day and just so happens to be ridiculously gorgeous, tall and slender and fit perfectly into both dresses. Thanks to Larissa Cleveland’s coaching and the sweet and calming demeanor of our insanely handsome groom, Tyler Argajan from Cast Images Model & Talent Agency, Andrea played the role of bride beautifully without any previous modeling experience!
Charlotte & Daughters designed the loveliest bouquet and floral installations for the day.
We loved the idea of setting the ceremony down in the brick hallway between the heavy vault doors, lit completely by flickering candles and the vintage frosted green lighting fixtures.
Found Vintage Rentals provided the most chic pieces for the lounge!
Doesn’t the velvet just add a richness to the space? Love that detail!
The groom was outfitted in navy + black from The Black Tux.
The velvet napkins (SWOON) and extra wide table runner are from La Tavola Fine Linen Rental.
Can you believe this place setting from Casa De Perrin? It’s practically regal!
You guys…this cake! Jasmine Rae Cakes crafted a masterpiece!
SO gorgeous. Thanks to Alice, Larissa, and Charlotte for sharing such a beautiful inspiration!
