Autumn is just around the corner, and even though the temperatures might not really indicate that here in our Southern California office, we’re pretty darn excited. Bring on the autumnal hues! From burnt sienna to dusty rose to mustard yellows, we’re dreaming of anything incorporating dried florals and harvest-inspired designs!
Playing up all these elements, photographer Evangeline Lane teamed up with Layne Kula for Rosé Events + Best Day Ever Floral Design for this drop dead DREAMY editorial. Breathing in life into Burnt Sienna, the team crafted an editorial brimming with beauty: two incredible tablescapes, two darling brides, a fan palm installation, and more! Layne shares: We married our love of non-conventional style, modern ceramics, an earthy + monochromatic color palette, and dried florals in this modern approach to one of our all-time favorite hues: Burnt Sienna.
Let’s take a peek, shall we?
The Florals
Talk about TEXTURE!
Playing up the hues of the harvest, Best Day Ever Floral Design brought in touches of pampas grass + orange fronds, and rounded it out with pops of burgundy and cream.
How gorgeous is that frayed silk ribbon hanging off the bouquet? Such a good way to add more color or tie in another part of your palette.
Complementing the Burnt Sienna with some earthy tones, Brielle McKenna highlighted the models’ natural beauty.
Rachel Hummel crafted effortless waves—the kind usually achieved from spending all day at the beach.
The Tablescape
Instead of a Burnt Sienna tablecloth, the team brought in this striking dusty rose hue…and we’re not mad about it!
Gold flatware, gold-rimmed glasses, earthy tones for the chargers + plates. So much YES to this setting!
Loving this look as much as us? We’ve pulled several similar pieces so you can create your own version:

The Gowns
All that draping fabric is so elegant—this almost looks like a painting! Those gowns are by Cortana Brides from LOHO Bride.
SO PRETTY.
Who else if embracing all of the fall vibes?! Thank you so much to the creatives behind this editorial. We’re ready to bundle up in a cozy sweater + place some pumpkins on the porch. :)
