It was important to Marlee + Jordan that they tie the knot somewhere that felt super significant for them as a couple. Jordan had gotten down on one knee and proposed on a trip to Mexico, so, after weighing the pros and cons, Marlee +Jordan knew that a destination wedding in Cancún would feel so full circle and so them.
With the help of planner Natalie of Natalie Events the couple planned a 50-guest wedding weekend at Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancún full of events and activities and brimming with color! Through Palace Resort Weddings they teamed up with vendors like Evoke Events Decor who created some seriously mind-blowing ceremony florals and photographers from Memories Photo & Video who captured every colorful moment with their cameras.
There were plenty of pops of hot pink and so much joyful party energy, and bride Marlee (who works as a personal stylist) rocked SIX different looks over the course of the wedding weekend!!

The Pre-Wedding Festivities
Marlee wore the Cult Gaia “Raisa” gown in fiery orange for the couple’s romantic, boho, sunset welcome dinner that Thursday. We love the cutouts and feathery accents! “Feathers were a common theme throughout the weekend in my looks,” Marlee says, “as I felt it truly expressed my personality.”
Friday of the wedding weekend just so happened to be Cinco de Mayo! So Marlee + Jordan planned a festive Fiesta Night for their guests!

The Wedding Day
Marlee found her wedding gown—the Rhythmic Fluted Gown by Zimmerman—at the Zimmerman boutique in Palm Springs, Florida. “I knew the moment I tried it on, that this was the non-traditional dress of my dreams,” Marlee says. “It was chic and perfectly bridal in my eyes.”
We are so into this gown’s tiered skirt and asymmetrical vibe!! Also, how fab are those Christian Louboutin Loubi Queen Red Sole Ankle-Strap Sandals??
Marlee’s chic low bun with face framing wavy pieces and glowy glam makeup look were the work of Backstage Hair and Makeup.

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding From the bride: "It's hard to pick only one! The most memorable moment of the wedding day, for me, was walking out seeing the chuppah and my full vision come to life. It was beyond exceeding my expectations. I had chills! The ceremony was very important to us, we had a destination wedding with 50 of our closest family and friends. The ceremony felt so personal and meaningful to everyone there."

The Reception
Marlee + Jordan kept the pops of pink going with some personalized pink maracas!
We’re loving this sweetheart table’s sunset-tone color blocked roses with the actual sunset in the background!
Gold metallic place settings with hot pink linens from Evoke Events Decor and round floral menus by Cara Eve made for a luxe-yet-festive tablescape.
Marlee brought some springy floral vibes with her reception dress! After cocktail hour she changed into the vibrant Domenica Embellished Ball Gown by Alice + Olivia. “I worked for Alice + Olivia for years and grew as a stylist with them,” says Marlee, “so I felt like that was a must for me to include them in my wedding looks.”
