We all dream of marrying our best friend. Someone to make us feel safe, happy, and bring out the kid in us. What better way to do that than with a bounce house at your wedding?! Heather decided to surprise her groom, Evan, with this beautiful white bounce house from Luxe Bounce on their big day. The perfect unexpected twist to their (already unique) forest wedding!
When it came to Evan and Heather’s wedding, it was extremely important to them that it not only reflect their love story but was also a “thank you” to those who loved and supported them. What could be more beautiful than that?
Our inspiration was really to make the wedding feel like us and celebrate our story, but also make sure it felt like a big gift to everyone who attended. We are who we are because of the people that we invited who have championed us and really stood with us in highs and lows. After most weddings, I can hardly remember the little details, but I can remember how fun it was or if there was a good dance party, etc. We wanted our guests to leave feeling loved and that they had so much fun. Everything we did, we made it about our story or our favorite things but made sure that it would also be a blessing to our guests.
Their photographer, McKenna Kleiner, couldn’t have done a better job capturing this magical wedding in the forest. Let’s get into all the pretty details!
Journey Into the Forest
When it came to finding her dress, Heather found herself surprised that “her dream dress” from Pinterest didn’t feel right. This is super common for brides to experience! Luckily, when she tried on this beautiful gown from Casablanca Bridal, she knew she met her match. It was the perfect intersection between her former dream dress and something that felt true to her personality.
This beautiful wildflower bouquet by 89th & Autumn went perfectly with their forest venue.
Just Hitched!
These people know how to party! It was all smiles for these guests when celebrating their friends. Just wait till they see the surprise!
A baby’s breath ceremony arch offered the perfect delicate and whimsical touch to this special day.
My biggest piece of advice is: One, the wedding is about you and your spouse. If you don’t want to invite someone, then don’t. If you don’t want to do a bouquet toss because they get awkward, don’t. Secondly, don’t stress about the details. Hardly anyone remembers a centerpiece, but they do remember how they felt or if it was fun.
Bouncing Into Happily Ever After
Look at these two cuties!
I think the most memorable thing was having so many people from all over the world (either in person or livestream) there celebrating us and coming together and meeting each other for the first time. All of our people in one spot has been my dream for as long as I can remember.
What could be more carefree than hanging around a bounce house with your bros?
How doesn’t love a giant cookie cake for dessert?
Congratulations to Heather and Evan! May your marriage be as fun and carefree as your wedding!
