For those of you that don’t know — Southern California doesn’t really get the traditional fall season. As our home office is in sunny Southern California, we’ve experienced this firsthand and crave all the changing colors of the leaves, the crisp air, and that overall cozy feeling of fall… Alas, we are graced with “California Fall,” and make due with what we’ve got (in all honesty, we’re not complaining about CA, we do love it here!). The team at Golden Arrow Events shares our sentiment, and wanted to create autumnal wedding inspiration, to make up for the lack of fall weather here.
Golden Arrow Events shares: We don’t always get that colorful foliage that you see around the country this time of year, but we definitely love fall as much as the rest of the country does. No California girl can wait for the weather to get cool enough to throw on her boots and jacket. Our first inspiration interestingly enough was a butterfly and from there entomology collections! We really began to see their rich deep tones that we often associate with fall and we went from there. We had our bride wear a leather jacket and her favorite fall boots.
In this fall wedding inspiration, you’ll see lots of leather, velvets, jewel-toned glass, warm wood accents, rich colored botanics, and gorgeous butterflies and bugs.
Can we talk about this incredible framed backdrop for a moment?! Starting with the leather scroll with dainty calligraphy by Sozo Creative Studio, Bottle and Blooms decorated the interior with an array of florals + butterflies… Cool, right?!
Yup, we’re in love…
All those autumnal hues!! We’re pretty darn smitten over the use of textured florals here…
Tying in the botanical + bug elements of the day, Jonathan Seagul Gallery Laguna Beach placed butterflies at each table setting, along with an assortment of vintage bottles.
Hints of slightly Victorian décor… And we dig it!!
We love how Bottles and Blooms really took it to the next level by incorporating personal charcuterie boards and fall-themed cocktails with an entomology twist; for her the Cider Bite and for him the Buzz & Berry!
Are you kidding me?! It just keeps getting better and better! From the eclectic arrangements of charcuterie boards, framed butterflies, and the leafy foliage, to those epic cheese wheels!!
For the couple that prefers savory to sweet, why not opt for an after ceremony cheese wheel + fruit spread from Claro’s Italian Market? Très chic, no?
Holy smokes… That leather jacket from Suo Boutique is the perfect complement to the day.
And to top it off, the couple rode off on one gorgeous motorcycle, together… Talk about dreamy!!
We seriously can’t get over this interpretation of fall — and the fact that the team brought it to Southern California. Thank you so much for sharing all of your creativity!!
