Baylee had her eye on Ronnie since high school, but it wasn’t until they spotted each other later, on a trip home from college, when the first connection happened. After ten years of loving + growing together, Ronnie surprised Baylee and popped the question on her birthday! These two knew they wanted a destination wedding, so they began looking outside their hometown of Vegas for the perfect spot.
At the end of the day, they both agreed that their wedding was about throwing the best party of their lives…and there’s nothing like a party in Mexico! The first stop was Acre Baja, a fairly unknown venue at the time. The magic took over before they could even get through the main entrance and Baylee looked at Ronnie with tears in her eyes. This was the place!
B + R called on I Do Details to help bring the design vision to life and Haley Rynn Ringo Photography to capture it all! Shall we join them in Mexico? Let’s go!
Babes.
Silk Flower Bouquets
Baylee threw a BYOB party with her girls before the wedding—Bring Your Own Bouquet! She purchased all of the dried and silk flowers from Hobby Lobby + Michaels, then invited her girls over to make their own arrangements. Finally, she surprised them with macrame wraps and custom pin gifts!
Boho Bridal Style
Baylee’s Rue De Seine gown from Lovely Bride is giving us all the rockin’ roll, boho goddess vibes!
Gorgeous!!
The First Look
Ronnie lookin’ good in Top Shop!
Our first look! Sharing that special alone time together and exchanging our vows. Padre Chippoletti (our ordained friend who married us) recited a poem during our ceremony...it was the lyrics to All Of Me by John Legend and it was epic, like a scene out of a movie. Everyone was laughing and it was perfect.
These two totally went with the Southwestern vibes. Baylee wore the most stunning vintage turquoise squash blossom necklace that belonged to her grandmother and honestly, we can’t imagine this dress without it!
The men’s boutonnieres were faux succulents with vintage family heirloom turquoise pins and gold leaf accents to tie with the designs on Baylee’s gown.
Baby, Let’s Get Married
Steppin’ Out with the Girls
When Baylee chose her bridesmaids she gave them paint swatches so they could find dresses to match! LOVE that idea! Terracotta, copper, and rust were decided on from the moment she toured Acre Baja, a move that totally highlighted the design elements of the space.

The Ceremony
Processional: Take Off Your Cool by Outkast featuring Norah Jones
Recessional: Angel by John Legend + Anita Baker
First Dance: La Vie En Rose by Lady Gaga
The look says it all!
Yay!
Fiesta all Night
Yep, we’re fans of this ;)
You think these two know how to have fun?!
Remember there are no rules! It’s your way or the highway. This is you and your fiancés big day so celebrate your love the best way you know how to. When selecting your venue, never forget these key ingredients to a successful event: convenience, food, alcohol, music, and weather! Weather is tough, but having a back up plan for your outdoor wedding is important. Low budget? Pick a wedding venue that speaks for itself. People may not remember your centerpieces, but they will definitely remember sweating their makeup off, a long shuttle ride, and paying for their own drinks.
THE cutest. Many, many congrats to the happy couple from all of us here at GWS!
