Married in Marfa! A Bold, Art-Inspired West Texas Wedding

Can you imagine how fun it would be to gather 25 of your favorite people and party together in your favorite place? Not a bad way to get married, in our opinion. And Cari + Oscar decided to do just that! Two creatives with a big love for the quirky art town of Marfa, Texas, C + O found THE coolest ceremony location in The Wrong Store, a church-turned-gallery. Here’s more behind the day’s inspiration from Cari:

ART, LOVE & MARFA! We took all the things we love: the area, art, people, style, things that make us feel at home, and went with it. We love to mix colors with natural elements and turned to Green Wedding Shoes for inspiration and GOALS to be brave and bold!

Lauren Nicole Photography headed west with the party to capture all the festive fun — let’s have a look!

Cari rocked this killer crown by Amaroq — a GWS favorite! (Check out these bridal hairpiece trends if you’re loving the look!)

Is she not a vision?!

The First Look

Cari was fringed and fabulous in that Rue de Seine gown from a & bé bridal shop!

Meanwhile, Oscar totally rocked that ASOS floral suit! As you may already know, we totally have a thing for grooms in grooms in floral suits.

Lovers in the Desert

Okay, we love them. SO cute!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

We were so ready to be married, we rushed through everything and were texting people to come early :) We seriously could not wait.

There is much to be amazed by in the small town of Marfa, Texas. C + O took advantage of the wonders, oddities, and sights for the most marvelous day!

An Artful Ceremony

Let’s talk about this ceremony location. Is it not just utterly perfect?! Art lovers — take note.

Brews and cakes…can’t go wrong.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

It is YOUR DAY — stay true to yourself. Decide what you want to focus on, whether it is celebrating with a big crowd or keeping it small and intimate, and shape what is important to you from there. Don't be afraid to make it funky.

Totally bomb. All our congrats to Cari + Oscar on your super rad wedding and all the adventures to come!
