We have such an adorable e-session to share with you guys today – that’s sure to provide perfect engagement photo inspiration to couples who share a love for adventure + the great outdoors, just like Nicole + Dan do! Piney River Ranch in Vail, Colorado was the perfect place for Whitney of Tulle & Grace to really capture these guys in their environment. Between the sweetest little tent decorated with florals (thanks to Lale Floral Design), Nicole + Dan’s fun boho style, and the epic Colorado mountain views, there’s too much to love – we couldn’t even begin to pick a favorite element!

Let’s hear a little bit more about these two from Whitney of Tulle & Grace:
Nicole and Dan met at Nebraska Wesleyan University. They started out as good friends with a love for music and soon realized they had a lot more in common than they could have ever imagined. After graduation, being the free spirits that they are, they packed up their belongings and moved to Denver with no jobs and no idea what they were going to do in hopes of living an authentic life that fit them. They later found great jobs and built a life in the Rocky Mountains. Dating for 7 years and building a life in a different state got them thinking about the next step in their journey. They talked about marriage and picked out the perfect ring, but Dan wanted it to be a surprise. One random Wednesday, while out with some friends at a local Denver hangout, Dan asked Nicole to join him in the photobooth. They sat down, discussed their game plan for the 4 images they were about to take, and between the 2nd and 3rd click, Nicole heard something fall to the ground. With one swoop of the hand, Dan recovered the ring that had fallen from his pocket, proposed on the 3rd click, and ended the roll with a YES and a big kiss.

Enjoyed this engagement shoot – some stunning settings, good choice of colours for both sets of clothes – started off reminding me of something healthy and Swedish and ended up with a peaceful relaxed hippy feeling
