Today’s styled shoot – a vignette from Reach the Workshop hosted by photographer, Carlie Statsky + Allison from Engaged & Inspired – provides the prettiest inspiration for those of you planning a summer wedding! The hilltop above the venue, Holman Ranch in Carmel, California, was the perfect place to stage a bohemian ceremony site with a vista view. We are in love with that rad triangle ceremony structure – intricate enough to provide visual interest, but minimal enough to not obstruct the picture-perfect 360º view.
Carlie + Allison teamed up with Beijos Events for styling, Christine Cater for florals + Meghann Miniello for paper goods. Together, they created a scene filled with vibrant color, bohemian charm + romantic solitude.
We’re not so sure we’ve ever loved a bouquet more! And it pairs so beautifully with that gorgeous two piece Sarah Seven dress!
The wooden arch by Statsky Design, made even better with an ombre floral installment by Christine Cater, just couldn’t be more beautiful. And we love how it acts as a modern contrast to the valley’s scenic, rolling hills.
We adore the dreamy hair, makeup + bridal styling by The Glamourist. So pretty!
Christine Cater shares, We are lovers of a good view, so our design had to be clean. The flowers on the lace overlaid sweet heart table were designed high and spilling out to draw the eye to our rose mandala. We used Anthropologie’s vessels, banksia, cactus leaves + anthuriums…and lots and lots of roses.
And the Beijos Events team adds, Along side 3-tiered white plate arrangement and gold and white flatware,blush and copper foiled name cards by Meghann Miniello were added to the table to give a pop of color. We wanted the focus to be on the gorgeous couple and the love that beamed from them and of course that breathtaking view behind them. Flowers were cascaded down the lace tablecloth and onto the ground to create that perfect pop of romance and brightness we were aiming for.
