A big move deserves a big celebration! For Christina + Daniel, their move to Kauai, Hawaii sparked the idea to plan a vow renewal to celebrate their commitment to each other and their commitment to their new life in a new place. They knew they wanted epic views and bohemian, beach vibes to give a nod to C’s interior design business Sun Soul Style. With the help of event planners Wanderer Weddings, they pulled off a stunning, elopement-style party overlooking Waimea Canyon.

Kauai has a huge place in their hearts. Daniel proposed to Christina on a beautiful Kauai morning during sunrise. While making plans to move their lives and their businesses to Kauai, Christina and Daniel decided they would love to do a vow renewal that captured all the natural beauty of Kauai. They’re both avid surfers, beach bums, and nature lovers, and thought Waimea Canyon in Kauai would be a perfect location for their vow renewal.

Warm colors of mustard, sage and hot pink mimicked the awe-inspiring landscapes of Waimea Canyon.
Echelon Beauty Kauai kept C’s wedding look fresh and laid-back with flowing waves and fun braided accents. We’re also loving her terracotta earrings by Native Nirvana!

A New Chapter
C shared more with us about why they decided to take the leap and move to Kauai:
Daniel and I both grew up going to the island with our families – when we met we bonded over our shared love for the magical place and it has always been our dream to one day call it home! Its a big change for us – both of our families live in the Bay Area (Strangely enough we grew up 3 blocks away from each other and went to all the same schools but never met until we were adults!) so leaving them and all of our closest friends is really hard – but we know that taking a big step like this together will be such an amazing way for us to start off this new chapter of our life together and deepen our relationship.

Blend Designs Co. took C’s love of all thing beach and boho and ran with it! You know we’re big fans of pampas grass so we’re majorly loving this installation up against the background of the Canyon!
Recommitting to Forever!
C shared more about how the vow renewal came together:
We weren’t sure where we wanted to do our vow renewal, just that we wanted it to be somewhere epic where we would be totally blown away. Colby from Wanderer Weddings took the reigns and organized the most epic scene for us – right on the side of a cliff overlooking Waimea Canyon. Since I obsessed so hard over every detail for my own wedding, it was so special to let someone else take care of it all and be totally surprised!
