Blue + White Wedding at Rancho Valencia: Elyse + Al

Rancho Valencia Wedding

Elyse + Al planned their wedding day around some of their most favorite things + a color combo that they love (but isn’t too often used in weddings): blue + white. By working through the details with the talented team at Amorology, their vision came to life in the most stylish + beautiful way and we can’t wait for you to see for yourself in the images below by Luna Photo.

Elyse tells us, Everything about our wedding had a little piece of each of us – our friends kept saying how it all reminded them of the two of us. From the blue hues that are our favorite colors, to the agate and macrame accents. We wanted things to be effortless and beautiful and they really were. The ideas from our wedding all revolved around the quote, “In a sea of people my eyes will always search for you” – something Al referenced to me when we first started dating.

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

At the end of the night, after the dancing, we went back to our room where Al had arranged to have our wedding desserts sent - we hadn't had time to even think about eating dessert and it was so fun to recap the night and enjoy the moment just the two of us. The second best was our first dance. We had been secretly learning to salsa and the fact we actually pulled it off without anyone finding out was really fun. And you'd be surprised how much you learn about your partner in a couples dance class!

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

Don't sweat the small stuff. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is that you're marrying your partner - that is the most important detail.
