Our selective community of Preferred Wedding Artists never fail to inspire and challenge the norm with their talents + creative ideas. Which is why it’s so fun for us to check in with our artists every month and find out what’s new + brewing! We’re feeling that fall inspiration this month with the turn of the season—and it looks like we aren’t the only ones.

All the Moodiness for Fall

We just finished a super-killer fall shoot at a downtown SLC restaurant with a color palette of mauve, yellow, and black. This is a very fall-inspired shoot and will get people ready to kick off the upcoming fall wedding season.

Developing a Passion for Film

This couple session on Antelope Island was shot on film with Portra 400 and 800. I’ve been really excited about integrating 35mm film into my work for my couples. It has allowed me to slow down as a photographer and helped me hone in the “why” behind taking photographs of couples. I’m so excited with the results and want to shout it from the rooftops!

We were recently asked by URBAN OUTFITTERS to create a styled shoot for their new summer outdoor home furniture! We obviously said, “hellz yeah!” And this is the BTS video created by our friends over at Essix Media, who shot about the process & what we do as a design oriented rental company.

That Fairy Tale Island Life

Tammi + George are city dwellers from NYC, who have a love for Hawaii that goes deep. They got married in Hawaii in the early spring, but wanted to host their reception separately for family and friends in the late summer. They had a magical event at Sunset Ranch on the North Shore of Oahu, in a lush garden, with tropical drinks surrounded by mid century and tropical furnishings and a whole lot of love! They also had access to beautiful horses, trapped in florals and a gorgeous floral crown!

This is a sneak peek of our latest seating chart from a late August wedding in Santa Barbara! Inspired by The Bungalow, Bloomingville, and Anthropologie, we created this boho mirror wall display with the help of Sophia Loves Letters and Idlewild Floral!

I went to the iconic Coney Island in NYC to photograph Sam Ushiro and Kyle Larsen of the blog Aww Sam! The carnival backdrop was such a cool location for a fun, whimsical engagement session. These two colorful cuties are getting married this fall!
