Berry + Gold Wedding Inspiration

There’s just something about gorgeous berry tones, mixed with a touch of metallic, that feels like the perfect palette for fall. Everything feels a little richer this time of year, and the holidays definitely call for (at least) a little bit of sparkle. For couples who are planning a fall or winter celebration, or for anyone conceptualizing their holiday tablescape, let’s let this beautiful bohemian romance editorial, designed by Rachael Ellen Events, show us how it’s done. We couldn’t be more smitten with the florals by Soil and Stem (just wait til you get a close-up of those peonies + garden roses!), but the whole setting, captured beautifully by Mary Claire Photography, is worth its weight in (berry and) gold.

From Rachael Ellen Events, This shoot was inspired by the intimate moments of two lovers alone in the woods. The lush greenery of the landscape balanced the various textures of the tablescape. The silk scarves were draped over the trees adding to the sense of intimacy and romance in the forest. Oriental rugs layered with furs and floral prints played up the hunter gatherer theme that inspired us as well. The table was set for two with dozens of candles and glass vases adorned with loose wildflowers giving an added feel of bohemian romance.

The florals were moody, organic, and romantic with deep reds, romantic pinks and vibrant magentas. This palette stood in stark contrast to the lush summer landscape, making for enviable blooms with big impact. Loose buds floated in basins filled with water from the river. The romantic shades were also seen in the bride’s berry lip color.
