Halle and Vince’s wedding day was all about showcasing their favorite beach town + oldest city in the USA , that they’re lucky enough to call home…St. Augustine, Florida! The couple built the day around having no real agenda or timeline. Seeing that the bride herself works in the wedding industry (she’s a photographer!) She knew firsthand how rushed everything can feel.
“We wanted to really enjoy our day with friends and family…so we made it an all-day event, starting with a sunrise ceremony.”
Emily Nystrom documented the activities all weekend and we can’t wait for you to take a peek!
Welcome to Florida

The bride shares that her dress journey was wild!
“I never tried on any gowns, I saw the sleeves designed by Lillian Khallouf, and on a whim reached out to her and she was totally down to create them for me! I pieced the sleeves with a slip dress from Hexie. Being a photographer, I get to photograph a lot of dresses so I wanted something I had never seen. I’m really happy with how it turned out!”

White bridesmaid dresses are so classy + uniform + needless to say, we are huge fans of this trend!
A Wedding on the Sand

Roses stuck in the sand?! Pretty sure this EXUDES romance!!

The couple’s goal was to highlight all of St. Augustine’s city’s charm. They had a sunrise intimate ceremony at their favorite local beach spot and a reception that night at their favorite restaurant downtown.

Most memorable moment was the ceremony, from having my nephew walk me down the aisle, to seeing my now husband so emotional and finally having our friends and family pray over our marriage. It was sentimental and meant the world to both of us.

Having a beach wedding of your own? Here are 35 wedding dresses for your oceanside vows!

The couple picked this beach location because it’s one of Vince’s favorite beaches to surf. And the home the couple stayed at for the weekend is located in their historic downtown, just minutes from their favorite restaurant: The Floridian, where the reception was held!

These portraits are truly breathtaking! A natural beauty!!

Plan a wedding that’s authentic to you and your fiancé . Don’t follow trends and don’t go in debt. Some of the best weddings happen in your backyard with your favorite people, a few wild flowers and string lights…

Together forever! Doesn’t this groom look so dapper dressed head to toe in Zara?

The Couple’s Grand Entrance

A second-line band lead the couple and family to dinner where the rest of the guests were waiting!
