Bonjour babe! Today it’s all about YOU. Yup, Y O U. Manda of Mae&Co Creative designed this modern + fabulous fête to celebrate all the ladies out there. How so, you ask? Well first, the event was all about supporting + loving one another. She shares: The creative community is a gorgeous thing when used and appreciated correctly, but so often we become more competitive and competitive than supportive and encouraging. I wanted to create a space for babes to love and support other babes, without limits.
Manda wanted to avoid the typical “girly-girl” theme, and go a more sophisticated route, with modern feminine details. To do this, she crafted a soft palette of neutrals and blush, with raw linen table cloths, and a mix of chocolate brown velvet runners. With a “highlighter bar” and a “braid bar” available — each + every lady could be pampered, while mingling and getting to know one another.
Doesn’t this sound like a blast? Let’s snag a seat over + check out all the photos snapped by Karra Leigh Photo!
All the ladies were invited to dress up as casual or glam as they wanted.
Manda shares: As a working women in the industry, we often work from home in our pajamas, have meetings in business-ware, or work projects in pant suits. I wanted a chance for us to dress up however we so desired. I wanted them to feel PRETTY and loved, and just know how incredible they all are.
The Mimosa Bar
Brunch with babes is a certainly a good reason to have Blockhouse’s mimosa bar!
The Tasty Bites
Blockhouse served as the adorable location, which Goodseed Floral then decked out with a gorgeous greenery installation.
Can you say, “YUM?!” Chefstable Catering provided all the tasty bites.
How darling are these rosy paper goods from Seek Paper Co.?
The Tablescape
Is your mouth watering?
The Details
They planned a “babe-enger hunt” for everyone to get to know each other, mingle and then win prizes at the end!
