Today’s wedding is a perfect fall wedding: an outdoor ceremony among trees changing colors, lots of skeleton keys and even some skeleton cake toppers – perfect for Halloween today! :) Victoria + Josh wanted their wedding day to be filled with all the things they love, which includes anything with a vintage feel. They handmade most all of the decor for the day (along with Victoria’s mother) and I just adore the photos captured by Connection Photography. Big congrats to Victoria + Josh!
Our ceremony. We created the script for the ceremony to reflect how we felt about the principles of marriage, and how we wanted our marriage to be. We also did a handfasting, and cried when we read our handwritten vows. Everything we said (or the officiant said) had meaning personal to us.
Processional: Game of Thrones Theme Song
Recessional: No One's Gonna Love You – Band Of Horses
First Dance: Bad Things – Jace Everett
It is your wedding day. Every decision you and your future spouse make should be about you want and how you feel about each other. We have a large combined family, and everyone told us what we should/could do, but it always came down to what we thought would be the best for us. Don't compromise your principles, it's your day! Also DIY early; we had so many projects in the last few weeks, we thought we would rip our hair out!
