Romance and rock ’n’ roll go together so well, don’t they? Designer Crachá Wedding Agency, photographer Daniela Rodrigues of Meraki Studio, and today’s couple certainly think so (and we agree!). Photographer Daniela wanted to create something different, something that would speak to the edgier couple that digs the rock ’n’ roll vibes, and wants to get married in a unique scenery, yet have something very intimate and romantic.
She shares We wanted something new, something relaxed, and something super COOL. The location we found — Radio, in Oporto, Portugal — is iconic and completely out of the box, there are not many places like it. It was the first court house in Oporto and the original walls and ceilings have been preserved. Today, it’s a bar called Radio which is breaking into the wedding industry!
Let’s get our rock ’n’ roll on and head to Portugal, shall we?
Matte black + gold. How beautiful is the refined simplicity of this invitation suite by Levado à Letra?
What better way to incorporate florals than by a darling floral necklace?
Dark + moody; florist Isabel Castro Freitas captured the edgy vibe perfectly.
Dilapidated walls + a collection of candles = *MAJOR HEART EYES*
From the boutique, Otaduy, the bride’s wedding dress was inspired by designs that Grace Kelly once wore.
Hair + makeup artist, Mónica Ribau, kept the bride looking bold + beautiful, especially with that dark lip.
SO GORGEOUS.
All that drama! We’re completely digging the contrast created with the onyx tablecloth, paired with the creamy plates + candlesticks, along with the black pressed wine glasses.
To top it all off, Bakewell contributed this creative confection! Once again, refined simplicity, but with a twist: accents of gold foil, and berries!
SO COOL. Right?! A huge thank you to the rockstar team behind this dark, dreamy, + bold shoot.
