Americana Rustic 4th of July Wedding: Whitney + Justin

Happy Monday everyone! Today’s lovely wedding took place over the past Fourth of July weekend. What a fun weekend for a wedding – and such a gorgeous location! From Whitney, “I love the fourth of July. It’s my absolute favorite holiday. There’s that sense of home and getting together and patriotism that I just love. So I knew I wanted a fourth of July wedding, but I didn’t want to have it scream fourth of July but I did want it to be present. :)

Thanks so much to photographer Ashley Rose for sending this sweet wedding my way!

Just LOVE Whitney’s veil by one of our awesome sponsors, Tessa Kim. And her hair in the fishtail braid – perfectly gorgeous Whitney!

When I first saw this submission, I was SO excited to see that Whitney was inspired from this DIY foodie post I created on including artichokes in your bouquet! I just LOVE how all the bouquets came out! The bouquets were created by Sugar Branch Events.

Such sweet favors! Whitney, her mother and her grandmother made all the jam from fruits on her grandmothers farm to give to each of her guests.

For the tables, Whitney collected vases, vessels, jars, tackle boxes, old fishing baskets, pitchers, watering cans, blue mason jars, old drawers, a random collection of coffee tins, medicinal jars and milk cans for Sugar Branch Events to plant flowers in! She choose to use all white flowers for everything, with the gorgeous white peonies being the number one featured flower.

What a yummy dessert table! The gorgeous cake was by Cakes to Celebrate and Whitney and her mother made the rest of the tasty desserts.

most memorable moment of the day? Sitting on the steps outside with my closest friends, watching the people you love have a good time…mission accomplished!

advice for brides planning now? Omg, don’t sweat the small stuff! By the end of it all you’ll just be so happy that you’re with your soulmate. :)

Big congrats to Whitney + Justin and thanks so much for sharing your wedding day with us!
