It’s an all-American elopement for today’s modern couple at the Wolf Feather Honey Farm! Pairing various shades of red, white, and blue, the team behind this editorial really captured the freedom of telling a unique love story — and all its magnificent splendor. With a side of beer + a sweethearts’ picnic in the warm summer evening, what’s not to love?
Chari of Wolf Feather Honey Farm shares: You experience one couple’s California love story lived beautifully their own way. The team created a style that was uniquely their own and celebrated that effervescent 4th of July spirit. With a striped white and red backdrop, vintage gold candles, and a sprinkling of blue pops, we’re all for the festivities captured by Melissa Rey.
Let’s proceed to the party, shall we?
The Details
The invitation suite by Epoch Design was modern + neutral — we especially love the slightly tattered paper used, giving the whole thing a worn aesthetic.
How perfect is the red Tap n Snap Van Co for this Americana-inspired theme?!
How fun are those red bomber baseball jackets from Brixton? (We could TOTALLY see these being a fun statement for a wedding party… and being worn after the big day!)
The Backdrop
For the backdrop, the team used a white and red cloth, and framed the space with brilliant florals + greenery by Mad Made Designs, and a copious amount of candles.
How swoon-worthy is this?! From the darling blue cruiser, to the picnic supples, and the bride’s modern + understated Sarah Seven gown from The Dress Theory… giving us all the summer feels.
The Star-Spangled Reception
A gingham blanket and an evening picnic with your sweetheart… Yeah, we like the idea of this!
Bundled in love!
No better way to end the day, right?! So, so fun! And be sure to check out the rad video below by The Santos and Co.
We hope you all have a wonderful day safely celebrating + can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store. Happy 4th!
