It was during one of Iceland’s rainiest summers that Morgan + Austin ventured with their photographer, Anni Graham, to the mossy cliffs for their vows. They braved the cold, traversed through the (INCREDIBLE) landscape, and said, “I do.”
With no details or décor to weigh them down, they centered the day on their love with sweet vow books, a bouquet, dashing outfits, and a pair of umbrellas. (Some hiking boots and a smattering of kisses were thrown in, too, for good measure.) Are you thinking of eloping? Perhaps in Iceland? If so, prepare to be enchanted! And, even if you aren’t—this is a wonderful reminder of what’s really important: you + your partner, the love that you share, and the promise of forever.
The Ceremony on the Cliffs

Austin: We were staying in this secluded, cozy 300 square-foot cottage about 45 minutes outside of Vik. Just to get there you had to drive 30 minutes on a dirt road through some of Iceland’s most beautiful scenery. But, you can imagine me trying to get ready in this tiny box…it was comical just to say the least. I was a little stressed about it raining all day and was fumbling over my suitcases trying to get my cufflinks on and then Morgan came walking around the corner in her dress. A wave of happiness came over me and I forgot about everything but how happy she makes me, hence the dumb happy grin in practically every photo.
Morgan: The obvious answer would be when we read our vows to each other overlooking the canyons. It was such a beautiful moment, however if I had to name my number one, it would be when I was getting my makeup and hair done. Austin waited patiently for me for over two hours in a stranger’s house making small talk with a nice Icelandic family. He even steamed one of my back up dresses. I've always known how selfless Austin is, but in that moment I knew I was the lucky one.
