We love a good wedding in Joshua Tree! It’s full of beauty, mystery and a whole lot of adventure – something Audrey + Jordan know all about. These two nature lovers followed their wanderlust across the US, traveling the country together in a van. Joshua Tree was one of their favorite spots, so getting married at Rim Rock Ranch was perfection. With the help of Ember and Stone Events, A + J planned a micro wedding day that saw them dining on boho rattan furniture, cruising in a vintage Bronco and snapping pics in an old Volkswagen bus. The inspiration for the design was bohemian, western, romantic and adventurous. The color palette was mauve, nude, beige, terracotta, rust and blush pinks. We really wanted to let the location shine and do it’s thing, so we had a simple triangle arch with florals for ceremony, plus area rugs used for the aisle. Ceremony space was framed by two totally kickass joshua trees and we love how big and open the sky looks!

Micro Wedding in Joshua Tree
Hellbent Hitchings officiated A + J’s Joshua Tree ceremony and Kassie shares:
Their vows were seriously the best, most genuine and sincere words I’ve ever heard spoken at a wedding. I don’t even have the words to express how in love these two people are and how perfect they are together. Their love truly radiates.
Pinyon Pine Floral Design created the dreamiest boho floral designs for the couple’s day. We are all heart eyes for this triangle arch and the fluffy bouquets.

A + J had their flowing locks styled by Hair by Tiffany and we’ve got to say their looks are boho bridal goals.
Narrowing down a favorite memory of the day is basically impossible, BUT we had such a blast riding out in the bronco for portraits. We actually couldn't get it to start for us after ceremony and had to jump it, but then we were off cruising through Joshua Tree with the wind whipping our hair all over our faces. I loved how Audrey and Jordan kept a hand on each other basically the entire time they were driving.
One of the top moments of the day? That would be the joy ride around in The Garage 77’s vintage Bronco.

Advice for brides planning now: Follow your heart and stay true to you! Plan what YOU love, incorporate elements of your day that speak to you and to your love. The sky really is the limit when you step outside of traditional expectations and plan a day that is authentically and unapologetically you.
