“Hit me baby one more time!” Who among us doesn’t love iconic Pop Princess Britney Spears?! We seriously do which is why we’re in love with this fun and fabulous wedding at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu. When they began planning their wedding, Adam + KC knew they wanted bright colors, fun details and nods to Sailor Moon and Britney. With the help of designers and planners, Heartthrob Weddings, they pulled off a stunning watercolor wedding complete with a balloon arch, a giraffe friend, custom signage and a killer drag performance!

Adam and KC got engaged on a ferris wheel in Tokyo during a Sailor Moon fan tour, and knew they wanted to incorporate the watercolors and cheerfulness of the cartoon throughout their day. Adam and KC also share a deep love for Britney Spears, and surprised their guests with a performance by Derrick Barry, a full-time Britney Spears impersonator & former contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Derrick closed out the night with raucous drag performances of Spears’ greatest hits, including the couple’s favorite, “Hit Me Baby One More Time.” He blew the guests away! According to Adam, “Our guests will not stop talking about how perfect the wedding was!”

Can you believe the Woolsey Fire had recently ravaged this beautiful place? Heartthrob Weddings shared how this event turned into an opportunity for the grooms and their vendor team to come together and make magic. It’s proof that it’s so important to hire vendors that you trust and connect with:
A wrench was thrown in the planning by the Woolsey Fire, which tore through the Malibu canyons in November 2018 & burned much of the venue to the ground. With some adjustments to vendors, fast restoration work by the venue, and a healthy dose of winter rain, the venue was back to its original glory by June and ready for the grooms & their guests. Seeing how many vendors sprung into action in the wake of the fire to help keep things on track in light of the circumstances was a heartening moment for the grooms, who felt loved & genuinely cared for by all.
Tropic of Flowers created this stunning arbor of greenery and bright florals! The perfect way to frame the vows!!
