Today’s bright + woodsy wedding inspiration takes place at Terrain in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania – one of the prettiest venues around – and they’ve just re-opened to start hosting weddings again! There are tons of beautiful ideas throughout this shoot, sure to get your creative wheels turning! Some of my faves include the punchy color palette, the incredible ceremony backdrop (wait until you see it!), and the super pretty paper goods! Here’s more from Lauren + Tim Fair, the photographers behind the shoot:
We teamed up with Oleander Florals + Sarah Park Events to create an end of summer inspirational shoot and little did we know that our “groom” would be proposing to his beautiful girlfriend during the shoot! :) We wanted to draw from the venue and incorporate pops of color to contrast against the woodsy backdrop. With fun touches like a popsicle truck at the reception, glitter toss during the recessional, and giant initial letters, the venue feels quirky and totally personalized!
Are any of you lovelies planning on having a popsicle truck at your wedding? Such a fun idea!
There are so many amazing architectural details throughout the venue…
And I’m madly in love with giant framed ombre flower wall! Seriously the most perfect ceremony backdrop…
We created a head table using a long gray farmwood table with ombre flower arrangements ranging from white to hot pink, on top of a watercolor dyed runner with gold flecks.
The darling dessert bar incorporated colorful candies, fun drinks + yummy pies from Magpie, a local Philly pie shop.
And how adorable is this real-life proposal?! The team had no idea that Brandon was going to propose to Gillian until he let them in on it just a few minutes before! And now the happy couple is even planning to get hitched at Terrain! :)
Thank you so much to the talented team below for sharing their incredible work with us today! So many ideas to pin, right?!
