A Sweet Sweden Wedding: Amanda + Rob

Happy Monday! Let’s start off the week with this lovely wedding all the way from Sweden! You might remember Amanda + Rob from their Australian engagement photos we shared last year. Amanda + Rob have attended a lot of weddings and really wanted to make theirs a bit different + less formal than most weddings in Sweden –  more of a gigantic party. Their wedding day turned out gorgeous and thanks so much to Nichole Jordan for sharing the gorgeous photos!

Most memorable moment of your wedding day?
Rob: I know it’s probably what everyone says, but mine was hands down when I saw her walking down the aisle. Right as the doors opened and I saw her, I started crying. I knew nothing about the dress or her appearance before hand. She was so beautiful in every way. 

Amanda: I will never forget standing outside the Church doors with my dad, it was such a beatiful moment betwen father and daughter. And as I could hear the drumbeat starting to play I felt like running in screaming YES I DO!

What song did you walk down the aisle to? I want to hold your hand by the Beatles. We exited to Helt Galen i Dig (Totally Crazy About You) by Tomas Ledin

Any advice for those planning now?
Rob: Let the bride get what she wants. It was a great day for me but my main thing was taking her home at the end of the day. Also, even though getting married is one of the biggest events of your life it’s important not to let the planning affect your relationship. It can easily get overwelming.

Amanda: I the beginning I had so many ideas and things I wanted to do. But some off it I didn’t do and our day turned out awesome anyway. So try not to get caught in to many details, it can drive you crazy. Use friends and family to help you out – we had a lot of people helping out and we’ll forever be greatful to them. And have fun! This day is about you and your love for each other. Don’t let others opinions affect what you want.
