Married on the water in a Caribbean Paradise? Sound too good to be true?? Well for Candela + Gaston, it was a beautiful reality. With the help of Daniela Parra Design, they planned a gorgeous and meaningful yacht wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The Yacht Experiences was such a rad backdrop for their Mayan Ceremony, private dinner, and magical sunset photoshoot. It was a unique experience, I always fantasize about an intimate wedding and on the beach and what most attracted us to make the decision to go for the madness of a yacht was the immense connection we have with the sea. In addition to the plus of an unconventional but spiritually elevated ceremony like the one celebrated by the Shaman who told us the story of how the souls that are destined to be together are united as one forever. Our inspiration was definitely the sea and the relaxed and bohemian style. The color palette was earth tones and olive green that definitely went perfectly together.

C looked like the perfect beach bride in a flowy Spiritum Tulum dress. Lidia Ko created her bohemian hairstyle and Zoe Elizabeth styled her gorgeous makeup.

A Wedding in Riviera Maya
Just look at this view! Pure Love Floral Design created the perfect ceremony backdrop with dried palms and colorful, sunset-toned florals. C + G wanted the decor to complement the setting, and we think they nailed it!
Gleaming like the sun itself!
The whole day was an anecdote, from getting ready together in the same cabin sharing all the intimacy to a Mayan ceremony with a background as special and unique as the turquoise of this sea that we love so much. One of our favorite moments was the cleaning of copal and sending the wishes between petals and corn kernels to the sea so that the gods receive it and make them a reality that will last forever.
