There’s something about a celestial wedding style that’s just so transporting — and we can’t get enough of it. Today, we’ve got a fresh new take on the trend! We’re headed beachside to Tulum, the home of boho beach weddings. But instead of full-on boho, the team behind the day turned their eyes to the sky and they bottled magic on the beach. Before we jump in, here’s Claire White of Butler and White:
Celestial symbolism is sprinkled delicately throughout the details. From the textured surfaces of the bespoke rings to the colour variations in the textiles to the texture of the plates which remind us of the surface of the moon. This shoot is all about the flow of life and the magical energy that surrounds us on our beautiful planet. Conscious choices were made for every detail. Natural dyes were used to colour the table runners and napkins, recycled papers used for the paper suite, recycled glassware, and vintage glass were used alongside artisan ceramics and sculptural brassware.
First up, these earthen invitations were designed on recycled paper by Acqua and Ink.
Here she comes in her first look, a beaded slip dress by Alicia Rueda Atlier.
PS: Here are our favorite celestial wedding dresses for you moon + star lovers!
The magic came to life at La Valise Tulum, which is genuinely one of the most stunning private beachfront bungalow getaways. (Add to bucket list.)
If you’re going to wear a bridal crown, wear a bridal crown. This celestial wonder is by Carbickova Crowns.
Loving that earthy textured bouquet by Maria Limon!
Celestial Wedding Ceremony on the Beach
The bride wore a second look and stunned in sequins by Julita LDN Bride!
A golden sunset on the beach — because this is as good as it gets!
Reception in the Bungalow
It’s not Tulum without a beachy bungalow — and this table + that view deliver!
Cheers to understated celestial perfection!
